THE HOST

The Mr. Marina Competition was created in 2012 by Brianna Haag in honor of her father. The event continued the subsequent 5 years, and after a 2-year break she’s decided to bring it back for year 7.

Brianna first got involved with LLS through their Team in Training program, and in 2012 won the title of Woman of the Year through a record-breaking fundraising campaign. In 2016 she was awarded the LLS Lifesaving Legacy Award in honor of the impact Mr. Marina has had on the community and fundraising for the chapter, and in 2017 she earned the organization’s National All-Star of the Year title. Brianna served on the Board of Trustees for The Greater Bay Area Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from 2013 - 2018 and has fundraised over $1M for LLS over the past 8 years.
